یہ جو مرید ہوتے ہیں ان میں جو اچھے باصفا اور نوجوان مرید ہوتے ہیں، وہ بڑے طاقتور ہوتے ہیں۔ وہ اپنے مرشد گرو یا پیر سے بڑے سخت سوال پوچھتے ہیں۔
ایک روز ہم ڈیرے پر بیٹھے تھے کہ ایک اچھی پگڑی باندھنے والے شائستہ قسم کے مرید نے پوچھا کہ، " بابا جی، بات یہ ہے کہ انسان اپنی کوشش اور محنت سے کہیں نہیں پہنچتا، اس کے اوپر ایک خاص قسم کا کرم ہوتا ہے، اسے کوئی خاص چیز عطا کر دی جاتی ہے، پھر وہ اس اعلیٰ مقام پر فائز ہو جاتا ہے"۔
اس پر بابا جی نے کہا شاباش تم ٹھیک کہہ رہے، وہ شخص بات سن کر بہت ہی خوش ہوا۔ ایک دوسرا مرید یہ سب باتیں سن رہا تھا وہ زرا تگڑا آدمی تھا، اس نے کہا کہ یہ بات غلط ہے۔
"انسان کو جو کچھ بھی ملتا ہے، اپنی جدوجہد سے ملتا ہے، اسے کچھ پانے کے لیے کوشش کرنی پڑتی ہے، اسے حکم کو ماننا پڑتا ہے، تعمیل کرنی پڑتی ہے"۔ اس نے کہا، "پیغمبروں کو بھی ایک مخصوص طریقہ پر چلنا پڑا، اور کوشش کرنی پڑی پھر جا کر ایک مقام ملا، ایسے ہی مقام نہیں ملا کرتے"۔ بابا جی نے، اسے بھی کہا کہ شاباش، تم بھی درست کہتے ہو۔
وہاں پر، ایک تیسرا مرید جو کہ لنگر کے برتن صاف کر رہا تھا، اسے یہ سن کر بہت عجیب لگا اور کہنے لگا، "بابا جی، آپ نے تو حد ہی کر دی۔ یہ کس طرح ہو سکتا ہے کہ دونوں کی بات ٹھیک ہو، کسی ایک کی بات تو غلط ہونی چاہیے"۔
یہ سن کر بابا جی نے کہا، "شاباش، تم بھی ٹھیک کہتے ہو، یہ زندگی کی بات ہے، جو بندے کی پکڑ میں نہیں آتی اور یہ جس کی پکڑ میں آتی ہے، وہ اس کی سوچ، کوشش اور دانش کے رویے کے مطابق اس کے ہاتھوں میں بنتی رہتی ہے"۔
