I have a question in mind, can someone tell me that


If we have 16-bit address bus then it can access 2^16 memory locations. now it becomes 65536. Now, if we take 16-bit, then 65536 should also be it bit (not in byte), but  if we take 65536 as bit then it becomes 65536/8= 8192 byte and 8192/1024 = 8 kB but in book ,it is mentioned as 64 kB, it seems that they take 65536 as byte but not bit.

If we take 16-bit then    216  
 must give answer in bits. we it converts to byte.
